It's almost here, the annual State of the Coast Conference is coming to Gleneden Beach at the Salishan Resort this Saturday! State of the Coast is Oregon’s coastal conference for everyone - where citizens, business and community leaders, fishermen, scientists, resource managers, planners, teachers, students, recreational enthusiasts and conservationists can learn, network, and engage in the current and future state of Oregon’s marine environment. This year’s program is full of great speakers and interesting topics! Kicking off the conference will be keynote speaker, Michael Bendixen, who will take us “on assignment with OPB” in amazing coastal places and extreme environments; check out this video of him ice diving! The annual conference, hosted and organized by Oregon Sea Grant is a fantastic opportunity for networking and learning about the latest issues on our coast and we hope to see you there! Other topics will include: Blue Carbon, Waves(!), Ocean Change and Market Squid, Ocean Energy, Harmful Algal Blooms, Ocean Food: Boat to Throat, Oregon's Beach Bill 50th Anniversary and much more!

Registration is still open! Click here to register.
