On Tues, Nov 28, the Oregon Ocean Policy Advisory Council (OPAC) will convene in Depoe Bay to discuss Marine Reserves, Wave Energy, and the Governor's proposal for an Oregon National Marine Sanctuary. On Mon, Nov 27 smaller OPAC workgroups will meet to discuss planning efforts on these topics. All meetings are open to the public with opportunity for public comment. It's important that Surfrider members particpate in these meetings to speak in support of clean water, shoreline access, and habitat protections!
