OPAC Meeting in Newport on December 6&7th

Oregon's Ocean Policy Advisory Council (OPAC) will be holding an important meeting in Newport on December 6&7th. During the meeting they will be reviewing the final recommendations submitted by the community teams for marine reserves and marine protected areas at Cape Falcon, Cascade Head, and Cape Perpetua. Also on the agenda will be discussions on new member appointments to the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC), update on next steps for the Territorial Sea Planning process, updates from the Redfish Rocks & Otter Rock community teams, and updates on Seafloor mapping.
