It's coming, Oregon Sea Grant's 2018 State of the Coast is scheduled for October 27th at Southwestern Oregon Community College, in Coos Bay. This year's theme is The Coast Through Your Senses and will include fun and informative presentations, workshops and engagement opportunities with community leaders, scientists, students and pretty much coastal folks of all walks of life! Surfrider staff and volunteers play a key role in the event each year both serving on the advisory committee and often presenting and supporting workshops.  This year Surfrider will be presenting in both the Oil and Gas session as well as the Marine Debris and Plastic Pollution session.
