State of the Coast: Oregon's Biggest Coastal and Ocean Conference

It's coming, Oregon Sea Grant's 2019 State of the Coast is scheduled for November 9th, 2019 at the Salishan Resort in Gleneden Beach, OR. This year will include fun and informative presentations, workshops and engagement opportunities with community leaders, scientists, students and pretty much coastal folks of all walks of life! Surfrider staff and volunteers play a key role in the event each year both serving on the advisory committee and often presenting and supporting workshops.  This year Surfrider will be presenting in both the Plastic Pollution session as well as moderating the Livability on the Oregon Coast Session.

The annual student poster & art session is a highlight of the conference. Submission deadlines are soon! Please share with any students who may be interested in exhibiting a research poster or art, it’s a great chance to share their work.
