Get Ready for Cascadia Conference 2023

By

Each year, Surfrider activists from around the Pacific Northwest gather for our Cascadia Chapter Leadership Conference.  This conference gives volunteers the opportunity to network, learn, share, and celebrate our wins!

This year, the conference will be held October 20-22 at Adrift Hotel in Long Beach, WA.  Surfrider Foundation covers lodging and meals Friday-Sunday.  There will be opportunities for surfing, beach walks, exploring the town, and hanging out with your fellow volunteers!

The Cascadia Conference features chapter members from British Columbia, Alaska, Washington and Oregon as well as staff from Surfrider headquarters in San Clemente, CA.  Invitations are extended from HQ to Chapter leaders each year, and chapter members coordinate through their Executive Committees which volunteers should attend. Many chapters will be presenting at the conference, sharing their ideas and organizational best practices.

If you are interested in attending, get in touch with Kaia Hazard (khazard@surfrider.org) or your local Chapter Chair by September 18.

Check out the agenda here.
