Whether surf or science is your fancy, there’s tons of great ways you can dive in to support the Newport Chapter’s efforts around Otter Rock Marine Reserve this summer at Devil’s Punchbowl State Park. Here’s just a few:

Microplastic Cleanups: Every Sunday

The situation is serious at Otter Rock with microplastic accumulation. This year’s unprecedented plastic debris event has had a massive impact on nearly the entire beach fronting the Marine Reserve from Devil’s Punchbowl down to Beverly Beach State Park. Thousands of pounds of microplastics have been removed and thousands more remain – we need your volunteer help, every Sunday the Newport Chapter conducts a cleanup, come join us!
